WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Untangld may collect personal information such as your name, gender, age, occupation, household or personal income, and contact details. Additionally, we may collect sensitive information such as your opinions and feedback on brands, products, and services, as well as political opinions or health information.
If asked to provide your name, you have the option to remain anonymous or use a pseudonym. However, in certain situations, such as where we receive your contact details from a third party, or where the research data itself may allow for identification, anonymity may not be practicable.
We will only collect sensitive information with your prior consent, and only if it is directly related to, or reasonably necessary for, the research we conduct.
HOW WE OBTAIN THE INFORMATION
Untangld generally collects personal information directly from you when you participate in our research, which may include focus groups, in-depth interviews, telephone surveys, face-to-face surveys, online surveys, or other research formats. Participation is voluntary, and in some cases, participants may be compensated for providing information.
For surveys, Untangld may collect your personal information using third-party fieldwork suppliers. You will always be informed about how this data is collected.
We may also collect personal information about you from publicly available sources or from clients who provide data about customers or former customers. Additionally, we may obtain information from marketing list providers for research purposes.
When collecting information from third parties, Untangld ensures that the data is obtained in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

If you decline to participate in our research but do not opt out of future research, we may still use your personal information to contact you again for another research purpose.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We will not disclose any personally identifiable information unless we have your express consent. Information you provide will be reported in aggregate form, ensuring that it cannot be used to personally identify you. We will not disclose personal information to any third party for purposes outside our research without your prior consent, except where required by law.
